But why does it state it goes through faster payment then. And to check if 'your' bank operates in the faster payment system.

Not sure I understand what you are asking - - but the above sounds like standard blurb some banks tell you.

Has your original question been answered satisfactorily?

    Yes, by the bank.

I wasn't asking anything, merely 'trying' to point out the poster is incorrect. By stating why mention faster payments when it 'only' applies to internal accounts.

I opened an esaver account last June, that had an offer if money was not drawn out over a 12 month period a 200 pound cash bonus was to be paid.

After completing my 12 month period without withdrawing, all I have been paid is the interest, no cash bonus.

Santander have advised they have no record of the offer. Can anyone help in retrieving the link that Martin published back in June 2012 with this offer.

I think you will find there was no such offer. If there had been, a huge number of MSEers would have been talking about it here and nobody was.

Are you getting mixed up by the fact that the interest rate contains a bonus for 12 months? And that consequently you are now getting something like 0.5% or so?

It's £20k per day, unless you have a Santander current acc to funnel the money into, then it's £100k.

'Per day' refers to a rolling 24 hour period - not simply date

Yes, I was about 1/2 hour short of the required 24 hours and guess what? "That will be a £25 fee, or you can wait 1/2 hour and it will be free"

What a joke. "Rules is rules".
