Going to alicante in just over a week. Have two children 6 & 8. I have hired a car and I need booster seats. Ryan air want to charge me £20 per seat, or I could buy two when I get out there at carrefour just not sure on there prices. Any advice welcome.

You can buy inflatable booster seats, they may probably cost more than £20 per seat that Ryan Air are charging you but you could recoup the cost by selling them on Ebay when you get back.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -
They are €24 in Toysrus Spain, I would expect Carrefour to be similar.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

Have you checked with the car hire company? Yesterday, when we returned our car to Autoreisen at Tenerife airport, there must have been about 15 booster seats sitting in a pile.0 -
Buy a couple of the inflatable type and keep them for the next trip. It can also be expensive to hire seats.
The last time I flew I took an old booster seat in my rucksack as handluggage and then just dumped it at the end - cheaper than the £60 the car hire company wanted to charge just for renting me a booster seat.0
