Hi all

My flatmates and I took out a 9 month broadband package with Virgin Media last year for which is expiring next month. Over the Summer I'm staying in my flat, moving in September and the thought of being without internet is almost unthinkable. At present with my Lumia 920 I am on T-mobile full monty which I can tether with, but limited to 4mbps dl. My girlfriend has a phone on Three's One Plan and gets speeds ranging from 7-17 mbps dl. If I were to swap to Three and was a heavy data user would I be hit by the crippling limits three used to impose for heavy users? I could not find enough up to date info to be sure

thanks guys

chris

If you're on the one plan you'll be fine.

If you're on any other plan you'll be throttled if you use too much/tether.

No worries. I've used over 150GB on the one plan on occasions (in a month) and nothing has happened.

The only time you'll see slow speeds is when it's genuine congestion. But if you're seeing 7-17mbps then that's what you'll get.
