Have you actually found a landlord willing to accept you as tenants totally reliant on benefits?

Who is providing the first month's rent and deposit?

Are you absolutely certain that the contributions towards your rent and council tax are correct?

I would say that if the two of you haven't lived independently before and had to budget with such a tiny income, you don't do it now until you are both in full-time work.

Thanks for all your help :).

Although you have all told us some of our bills are a little high, we have decided to keep them the same to cover our selves. After we have got used to the first few months, we will re-budget our bills.

To all those who have told us we are best of getting a job first, unfortunately this is not an option for us as we will not have a home in July.

    Thanks again,
    A_Couple_In_Love.

As others have said, the gas and electricity seem very high.

We are a couple in an ancient rambling house and that is more then we pay. The water is double what we pay on a meter but not a lot you can do about that if you are renting.

The groceries are doable if you are careful.

You can halve the cost for unlimited internet.
