When I say healthy..she will be getting the obligatory fairy cakes from my mum, but she does love healthy stuff too so it seems daft to pump her full of chocolate and hot dogs (head, shoulders knees and toes...!) if we can do her something else fancy that she'll love.
It's not a kids party as such, just family, does anyone have any recipes or food ideas that we can nab?
I'm hoping for stuff that's not too complicated as I'm also tied up with our littlest daughter (who's 4 months), so I'm hoping for easy ideas! Her birthday's not til 18th June but we're hoping to buy grub bit by bit as we're skint.
Thanks loads in advance!

chop up some bananas, strawberries, grapes and put them on little coctail sticks.... I'm not thinking LOL they're only two..!
Put them in a bowl, parents will love you because there child doesn't have to then just eat chocolate and sugar0

Not alot of children like the crust on bread but horrible mean parents (me)always make their child eat it before they move onto the goodies... but if you don't mind the wastage cut the sandwiches with cookies cutters: flower shapes, star shapes and love hearts is what I've done before now...
Left over bread can be given to the ducks or birds...a little trip out0

Use the leftover bread to make home-made chicken nuggets...if you run out of leftover bread, then use cornflakes..goes down well with kiddietwinkles and parents too..they're really crunchy and tasty!Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19
