Did you not contact Amazon and ask them to remedy the problem? I would do this before posting a bad review. Amazon are very good at resolving issues.0 -
Actually, I can see the OP's point, here.
If there is something wrong with the manufacturer's packaging that is likely to cause a certain proportion of product to arrive spoiled, then that is relevant to the review.
It's only if it was inadequate packaging on Amazons part or a problem during delivery that it is not relevant.
It doesn't matter whether Amazon sort it out - anyone wanting to order it as part of a child's birthday or Christmas present will want to know that they cannot rely on getting a functional product.
It's still a mystery why they removed this review when so many others that are not relevant to the product remain. Was the language used intemperate? There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -

The purpose of a review is not to leave feedback that the particular item you received was apparently faulty. That is what raising a dispute/complaint/claim is for.0 -

Not true.
There are many reviews that mention a product being faulty.
Some say that it was refunded and some say it was replaced.
If Amazon were to remove all reviews that mentioned a product being faulty no one would be able to find out that some products are unreliable. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
And even saying "delivery was fast" is a bit pointless if buying from the marketplace.
The seller for your item might be fast, but another seller for the same item might send it via the moon and takes 4 weeks to arrive0 -

This is what I wrote word for word.
I don't think it's that emotional?
Yeah but that's not a review of the product, it's a review of the condition the product arrived in.
You haven't said anything about the product other than you doubt it'll work which is obviously speculation. There's nothing in what you've written that gives they buyer an idea of what the product is like just that yours didn't arrive how you'd like it to and from that you think it won't work!0 -

You are also confusing the feedback that you leave after a marketplace transaction (that you see on the sellers page) with the product review (that you see on the product page).
There is a website that lists the funniest of these "reviews" for the delight of those of us who understand the difference.0 -
I remember years ago posting a review online for Loose Women. I just wanted them to know that I thought the content of that particular programme was basically biased and not very well all-thoughts aired. It was a two person luvvie 'chat'. I was factual, informed and very polite. It was pulled as not being relevant!! Whats the point in having the facility to review if they only want to hear what they want hear and not what others want to tell them.0

As for Amazon - I cant fault them but possibly I wouldnt have written a review but a 'complaint' to the complaints department - who would have more than likely dealt with your problem in a completely different way, and may have given you a more satisfactory result.0
