    thinking about it another way.

Is there any way of looking on the sim card to view unsaved numbers? It would have been an unsaved on at one point and I would recognise the number again.

    Is this possible?

The only possible way is if the number has called you or you have called the number and it will be in your call history

Do you mean you have a text from the number ? If so the number will be at the bottom when you scroll through the text ?

if you know the precise time and date of when you called the number your network may be able to provide you with the number!

You could always look at the bill as it should be itemised. will only work if you remember the time/date of the last call or text.

maybe trying registering for online billing as well and then you dont have to wait for the next one to arrive.

Good idea Fat Cat........ooooh, no........I've remembered though.......I changed to PAYG in January and it is since then......bum......I had itemised billing as well until January......

Cheers for all the ideas, I think I'm at a dead end though :(
