Why do you ask anyone? I'd just apply online if I were you.
I never asked her at first I just said I want to open an account and her response was:-
"As far as I know you can only earn 5% on one of these accounts"
Thats when I got her to ask a supervisor
Online seems to be the way forward0 -
Quite quick when you have online banking - all pre-populated - when should I open the 3rd one - tomorrow?0

Yeah very true - but you realise there is a current account that pays 5% for 12 months on up to £2.5K?
To be honest it would be more hassle than it's worth as I'm already running three current accounts with different banks. But thanks for the heads up

I have a question for you - can I PM you?0 -

4 is too many? Really? I'm running 10
I call it the Gromitt 1234
1xFD
2xNationwide (1xFA, 1xFD)
3xTSB
4xHBOS
I couldn't have an extra NW FD as it would upset my system, plus I really couldn't be bothered to transfer 1K into each of the accounts, I don't mind the above as each bank (not account) only requires 1K each.0 -

It'll be fine in a weeks time, but I can't add any payees for another 5 days.0
