Hiya
My wife got a Sim-Only contract with EE end of March, We never got the sim and now EE (TMob) are trying to get us to pay for line rental that we've never used.
Their Customer services automated system is a joke, We tried calling them numerous times but without a Mob. Number we were stuck! We never got a 2nd bill, and now we are being charged £32 for the line rental!
To top it off the DCA they use sent us a letter telling us to pay the £32! I called them and they have deferred any action for 14 days. So today we went to a EE store in Oxford and they put us through to CS who have offered £10 off the bill, he also advised us to write in.
In 14 days will the DCA start pestering again? I know we left it late but my wife and I both don't understand things, we've just panicked now.
What else can we do?

Follow their standard complaint procedure, then complain to the ombudsman.
That said, they are likely to have reported adverse information to the CRAs. If you care about your credit history, check this and demand it to be cleared.0 -

Late/missed payments, hopefully not a default yet.0

They should be able to see there has been no usage on the SIM and at some point they should sort it. How far you have to take it, I don't know. I agree with Grumbler about following their complaints procedure though and hopefully it won't take too much to get it sorted.
You could always try writing in if you have already escalated and haven't got anywhere.
Good luck!0
