There are loads of 'customise hoodies' items on Youtube0

what about star anise or whole cloves? You could also make pot holders - fabric 'envelopes' or small covers sfuffed with a smaller bag filled with lovely spices and then when you stand a hot saucepan on it, you get a delicious 'waft'0 -

I have never made those but they sound nice. Also, I love the smell of cloves, so festive. Can't wait to get the room decorated so that my sewing machine can come out again, I am getting withdrawal symptoms. I love natural smells rather than some of the more artificial smells you get in things.0 -
*smacks forehead* - should have said potstands not holders0

Love this thread it's right up my street
I've been saving £10 a week, bought 2 of my son's presents and have some stamps saved with Morrisons. I love Christmas :j but I don't love how much it costs so I look for sales throughout the year.
Wife and mother :jGrocery budget
April week 1 - £42.78 | week 2 - £53.0524lbs in 12 weeks 15/240 -

Sequeena- I save Morrisons miles, nectar points and also give my dad £20 per month to save onto Morrisons card and Asda card.:j:j
When I go to Wilkinsons I also save my change onto their card. :)You never notice the small amounts disappearing but it feels like free money in December!!!!:D:D:D
I also buy loads of reduced stuff throughout the year,,,,,, Even if I don’t know who it is for. They often come in useful for birthday gifts.:)
xxxStart by doing what's necessary, then do what's possible and suddenly you are doing the impossible:j
Christmas is not a time but a state of mind :xmassmile
Trying.....Very trying- as my DH would say
Loving de-cluttering0 -
Thanks for the thread Zippychick x
I spent some of my day colouring sugarpaste green and trying to make a Christmas tree for my DD's birthday cake, her birthday is next month but she is the nutcracker ballet on the brain so I'm just going with it:D
I'm thinking of doing fairy cakes with green frosting and candy cane sprinkles, I thought if I put the cakes in brown paper cases that could be the trunk with the frosting being the tree? Well we will see how it turns out! I'm still trying to think of party food to go with the theme so if anyone has any ideas they would greatfully received.
On the real Christmas front I'm still using up the wrapping paper from about 5yrs ago. I have some money put past and I have a new tinkerbell tree topper on its way which will be beautiful on the big tree in the hall ( that's what I told OH and I'm sticking with it). I will need to start thinking up gift ideas and start getting my stash built up!
I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0
