I've created a Christmas events page to keep all festivals, markets etc in one place. Please update as & when you hear of an event or activity, I often miss out on things becuase they are only advertised in local newspapers/noticeboards but live within a couple of miles & would love to have gone, so maybe this will help keep us in the loop of local events.

Good sale at Wilk. today. I got 6 of the heart shape cup cake stands for £1.25 each. Plus they had the Mason Cash mixing bowls - £2 each. They are for presents.
There was one set of Tala cake tins left reduced from £15 to £2.50. The largest tin had a dent so I got 25% off - paid £1.87 - they are for me. I will turn the tin so the dent is at the back of kitchen shelf.

Hello all! I picked up some snowman stickers earlier this week from that online auction website, ready to go on my snowman soup toppers...or for Christmas cards!

Just hoping to find some more bits and bobs tomorrow when I head to the shops! Want to find the bargains! Haha!

well am chuffed to bits am just waiting for 1 more thing to come then all presents will be done
bought for my 22 yr old niece
my brother and partner
my sons girl friend got her quite few things
my dil got her lots of things
and I making them both pamper set and a make up basket each
3 sons 19 21 25 all done
hubby all done
trouble is got loads black bags in my wardrobe under bed all make n pampering breams in big boxes
got ds birthday 3 weeks got his pressies

2nd ds birthday just after xmas
got my niece n brothers before xmas

all finished will be starting on food shelves n freezers soo

do glad all done trouble is want give everyone their presents lol

I have been reading/lurking on this thread as I really want to be organised this year.

Yesterday I finally got started, I brought my Christmas cards. Writing cards is the one thing I don't like about Christmas so decided to get it out of the way and enjoy the rest.

I'm so proud I had to let the world know.:j

Feeling so organized now I have got an Xmas Organiser App! Good fun to do.

Just ordered a Playmobil Camper Van from Amazon for my two year old grandson's Christmas, £23.97. He will love it as his parents hired a real one for the V Festival last week. His big brother will love it too.

Picked up my M&S sale order, stuff for grandchildren's Christmas gifts, and that is it now. Unless, of course, I see a real bargain. But we have all decided that the children get much too much in the way of toys etc. so I have curtailed my spending. Got most stuff now except the adult secret santa gifts.

Was lurking as I felt guilty as I hadn't started yet.

However I took the dog out blackberry picking yesterday, and stumbled across a tree shedding pine cones all over the lane. Lovely small ones, so I collected a bag full ready for decorating and hanging. No room for a tree so going to make a hanging one out of coat-hangers and pine cones.

Was very proud of my fee lane-wandering haul!

Grabbed quite a few bits for my OCC shoebox today, so that box is almost done. Just want to at least find a nice little cuddly toy to pop in

Hello all. Not quite a newbie as i have been a member for a long time but i mostly lurk and read lots of helpful info that you have all posted
I am currently obsessed with this and another thread in here about getting ready for xmas, and am getting just a little bit excited I have just in the last week, started to buy a few bits and pieces to try and spread the cost this year.
