Picked up some Astonish handwash today in "chocolate orange" to put away until Christmas time. I've searched for this particular scent in the shops for at least 6 months now, so to have finally found them is brilliant! It smells lovely! :)

Home Bargains have coloured kilner bottles in 500ml and 1litre (both under a £1), perfect for home made flavoured vodka
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J
  • I haven't posted in a while but have carried on picking bits and bobs up for my present box. I got a gorgeous westie cushion from Dulemn Mill for my parents which I know they will absolutely love, and have decided I am going to make both of my close friends a stocking and have gotten cute little bits for that such as owl hand warmers from Primark and personalised coasters using a Coastagram groupon offer :)

Now the heatwave has ended here we're getting a lot of rain and its putting me in a festive mood!

I've been saving this year, £50pm, towards presents. The adults in the family do the secret santa thing at £75 per head and the only other people I need to buy for are my grandchildren, my sister in law and her partner and two grown up children. I tend to try and do it on the cheap as they have trust funds which I manage to pay into each month (so far) for my grandchildren.

Anyway, I have put away, so far, a Conran candle holder for my sister in law, some Kirstie Allsopp egg cups and spoons (M&S sale), the bargain Chad Valley packs of 12 activity books, In the Night Garden knights and castles toy, footballs, bead stations and lots of notebooks, pencils etc. Also, I have (I must try to remember where they are), as table presents, Stackers valet trays for the men, Emma Bridgewater foldaway bags, John Lewis sewing kits and other stuff I have picked up in sales over the past few months. Just loving that feeling that I won't have to buy too much more. I already have all the M&S wrapping paper I bought in January.

So, I'm doing ok for the moment. I must put them all together somewhere!

Hi everyone, does anyone have any ideas for stocking fillers for a 24 year old guy?

I have a few ideas but would like some more so I can start building up a little stash and spreading the cost.

    My ideas are:
    - Cigar
    - Mini Lego Builds
    - Scratch Cards
    - Mini Shower gel/Deodorant
    - Fire Steel
    - Lego Ice Cube Trays
    - Mini Figs?
    - Lottery Ticket
    - Costa Gift Card
    - Nuts - Almonds, Pistachios, Cashews
    - Car Air Freshener - New Car Smell
    - Seeds
    - Batteries

I got 3 packs of Collection 2000 Hot Looks nail polish that have 3 polishes (the same colour) in each pack in the pound store today, so I'm keeping 1 of each colour for myself and splitting the rest up for presents for the girls. I also managed to get 3 more of the OPI shatter polishes in there since a friend really liked my nails when I was wearing one of them, even though she's not normally into makeup or nails etc., so I will give a few to her as part of her present, so very happy today :D
