Ordered a Silver Cross doll's bed from Amazon for my grandaughter. I hope she doesn't have one already - she's got just about everything! Anyway, I only paid half price for it, seems like a bargain.0

of course it's not awful, she probably feels exactly the same, and if the kids (yours and hers) are like mine - they have loads of toys, and I dread the new onslaught at christmas. Last year I agreed with a friend that we would buy for each other only, not spouses or children. After all - it's us that are friends, we know each other well enough to buy something each other appreciates (but more often than not very cheap), whereas I know the kids/spouse presents are expensive and generic and probably pointless.:AA/give up smoking (done)0 -

For the make-up why not go to Debenhams and ask them for some samples of Lancome as a stocking filler. Also there's one of the make-up/perfume sites on quidco that does Lancome and Estee Lauder quite cheap.
For nice but cheap mugs try Home Bargains (around 49p) they also do clear plastic spoons but not sure of the price.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You might well find she is equally relieved. If you *really* feel you must buy something you could buy a tin of sweets or biscuits or a board game for the whole family to share - but I would expect that, if you had the conversation early enough you can both agree to stop the buying - and both benefit.:DDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

The cola one is yummy too xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0
