Cheers. I just found today an angry birds speaker & stand for ipods or ipads. It was 24.99 from Play.com & for a 6 year old is good enough sound wise.I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

Haven't been into Next for ages and they've revamped all their perfumes since I was last in - do they still sell purse-size sprays in store (specifically Just Pink)? Online they only have full-size bottles. I want a purse-size one for part of my sister's present - planning on getting a nice handbag from a charity shop and filling with a few bits and pieces.0

Morning,
I picked up the new argos book on Saturday and made a provisional list for my DD who will be nearly 2 at Christmas - this prompted a trip to toys r us just to compare prices and ideas. I was disgusted with the quality of the toys for the prices ... I was hoping to get her a new pram and doll as she is outgrowing hers however they looked cheap even though the cheapest price was £40
I have managed to pick up a few more things for the hampers though and I will print a full list later to go into my filo faxso I can keep track.
I am struggling for ideas for a 4 year old boy who was into Thomas last year and a 7 year old boy who likes building things (got him lego last year) ... Why do toys cost an arm and a leg?I can't seem to find any decent toys for less than a tenner - any ideas will be gladly received!
I have started preparing for winter though - extra blankets and the likesPicking up a second freezer tonight for my coal house - I can start batch cooking and adding bits for the festive holidays ... I need to make a start on some homemade decorations too as well as cards :T

MaddyWaddy Argos always have toy promotions on the run up to Christmas. Seem to recall some kind of BOGOF offer last year. Alternatively keep your eyes peeled for the voucher offer (£10 voucher for £100 spend or £5 for 50) and plan your shopping to take advantage of the offers. Sainsburys also do big toy offers near Christmas. Tesco clubcard voucher double up instore scheme has included toys at Christmas in the past as well.
Another option is to do online surveys (ipsos, swagbucks etc) and save your vouchers towards Christmas.know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -

MaddyWaddy try Home Bargains, they have nice dolls for under £10. They sometimes have prams too. They also have lots of great toys and good prices (I bought Hobbit toys in there for £2.99).CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0

Maddywaddy - Do you have a Smyths toy shop near you? They had a few decent deals on the other week when i popped past. You might be able to get all the children's presents in there, Because it looked like they done everything age related - But i could be wrong!?
I brought some stocking fillers for all the women in our families yesterday from Av0n sale booklet. For £7.50 i got enough spa products for 6 women. Also brought another gift set. so at least we have one, Of many women completed.
For the person asking about next gift-sets Just pink? I believe they no longer stock it in store, I love it but when i asked in 2 of our next stores they said they was going through a rebranding.Future goals:
Become debt free.
Beat Depression.
Be happy & healthy0 -
Just a quick thank you - I will be trying home bargains as we have a new one near us which I have yet to visit.
Also I have been told today there is a new Smyths opening near work so will try tat too.
I remember being young and being happy with my plastic nurses outfitCheap but hours of fun!
