Full checklist for change of address

Hi all,

can anyone recommend a download for a full and comprehensive checklist with items you need to change your address on when moving?

I've tried writing it all down by hand but am bound to forget something - I've googled for some but none of them are that good.

Thanks

    There are a few online

But there will always be some missed. Belt and braces - 1 year re-direction with Royal Mail to catch the Christmas cards and the infrequent letters and give your buyers some stickly labels with your new address on.

Don't forget to notify for both your driving licence and your vehicle registration. Utilities, insurances, govt depts, local authority, friends/family, financial institutions etc. Make a check list so you can add as things occur to you.
It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

I forgot to tell HRMC my address had changed (I do a self assessment tax return) and eventually they chased me down for £1 underpayment plus one year of interest.

Stupidest part of it was that it was only a couple of months until my next tax return anyway so I would have logged in and noticed if they had just not bothered.

A similar site to the one mentioned above is http://www.iammoving.com/ - this one allows you to send change of address notifications to many organisations online.

I also did a 1 year redirection to catch any stragglers.
