    I did consider that :)
I have now had time to look at the labels properly.
On the label I printed off and stuck on it has the weight on it twice (between 5 and 10kg), how long the parcel label is valid for (till 24/05/13) and MyHermes is in colour. The label that the buyer received did not have the weight or valid to on and they layout was slightly different. The address, tracking and van/drop/round information are all the same.
So this is definitely not the same label as I posted it with. Which leads me to believe it a problem with myHermes and not the buyer. Going to ring them again and see if they will be more helpful this time!
    Thanks for all your replies!

I was lucky when i got mine sorted...the thing i was expecting hadn't been sent out for delivery so the counter guy knew which box it was once I described what the contents should be.

For yours then it appears pretty obvious that "someone" at MyHermes has reprinted a label for some reason...assuming you only get one type of label printed at home. Hopefully you took the extra insurance to cover your £75?
Looks like the same sort of scenario as mine.

I did but from what I gather as far as Myhermes are concerned the item has been delivered.I have spoken to the buyers local depot and got no joy there either. I'm guessing there must be another unhappy buyer out there, unless of course they prefer the item I sent, in which case I don't stand a chance of anything being resolved!
I have asked the buyer to send me what they have recieved so I can chase up with Myhermes and it put's my mind at ease that they were not trying to scam me. I have of course said that I will refund all of their orginal costs and extra costs they inccur. I am not sure if ths was the right way to proceed but if they open an item not as described case then this is what eBay would ask to be done.
This situation has totally frazzled my brain!

So the they have become "Herpes" now!!:rotfl:

I have recently started using My Hermes and haven't been putting any invoice inside. Perhaps I should be doing that from now on, just in case the label comes off.

    Only in the playground.

I had issues with MyHermes double charging me for a Parcel, and the best way to get their attention is to contact them on Facebook if emails are not successful.

Thanks for the advice, I will try that! Gave up trying to call them again as I either got cut off or I was waiting for ages!

I had a problem with a delivery from boots, they claimed to have left it with me all signed in an unknown name.
Questioned this so was investigated - and then case closed as driver insisted he had delivered. Boots allowed me to make replacement order but made it obvious this was just them helping me out as I had already recieved order!
A day after I got replacement order the misssing order was also dropped off outside my door and driver drove off (it was for £78 woth of medicinal products).
Rang boots who then sent a new driver to pick up order. Attached to the box was a list of that days delivery orders with full addresses signitures and dates.
At least I had proof the driver was at fault and so got apology.

Still trying to get this sorted. I spoke to eBay who said to tell the seller to open a SNAD case and follow the instructions, which I did. However the buyer has declined to do this saying he is sure the item must be around somewhere and he will chase up with myhermes (I'm still trying!!!) he asked again if I was sure I'd sent it to the right address. I replied with address which he confirmed, saying I had a copy of the original postage label and receipt. I haven't heard from him since Sunday. I only have 28days to make a claim with myhermes, am I right in thinking he can claim for SNAD with me up to 60days? I'm just not sure what to do next...

I think taped on labels or self adhesive plastic windows are always at risk of being torn off. I now write the tracking number, delivery and return addresses on the box itself so it can be delivered or tracked down easily. This followed the disappearance of a very large and heavy box which presumably had lost its label.

If that's the case then surely you need to make a claim with the courier within the 28 days.
Whatever eBay say, whatever the buyer does, if the courier have lost the parcel you sent (or mis-delivered it) you need to take it up with them.
You can then deal with the eBay side of things when the buyer sees fit.
