Connection keeps dropping Orange broadband

Hi, I have used Orange for many years since they took over Freeserve, wanadoo etc.
We had major problems with them a few years ago where we had to keep ringing them and eventually I got the Orange Executive email address and got in touch with someone in the UK who helped us a great deal.
Now our connection keeps dropping as I feel they have turned it up too fast and it can't take it. We are fed up of ringing and asked to do all the tests over and over again which don't help. They tend to think it's our router somedays and then eventually admit it's their problem.
My husband has rung again and asked to speak to a supervisor who wanted to do all the tests again and he has run out of patience. All we want is for them to lower the speed slightly so it keeps stable.
Does anybody know how we can get in touch with someone who will listen and help please?

The line canna take it Captain!!
OP Could you post your full router line statistics? That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
try changing the filtersDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

But first the stats. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

I have the same problem.
Signed up in january....all was fine untill the last week or so. The connection just drops completely making it impossible to use the internet. Usually happens every 15 minites and lasts between 20 seconds- ten minutes.
Can anyone suggest why and help?0 -
I've had problems recently too, all they ever do is tell me to re-boot or re-set the livebox, which works for about a day if we're lucky, then it goes off again, after getting really slow. More & more frquently devices such as the laptop or phone won't connect to the wi-fi. Running out of patience with Orange.
I have changed the filters & asked for a new router box (think they do something called a bright box now?) but if they can do a short term fix they are not interested.0 -
I have the bright box so dont expect that to help.
I re-set mine all the time and it doesnt help one bit. I've tried every channel and again it makes no difference.0 -
What sort of connection? Wi-fi or ethernet? Impossible to diagnose with the basic info.
If wi-fi, retest using ethernet from the master socket to rule out wi-fi issues. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
