I have sent them evidence of where the money came from so will just have to wait and see I suppose, definitely going to start keeping some cash in the traditional place (under the bed) for rainy days now! The strange thing is they have had technical problems for two days and the woman I spoke to said to me that some accounts are experiencing these difficulties, even my wife still cant log into online or use the text services at the moment, so it may just be me reading too much into a technical glitch!
Technical glitch? :eek::eek::eek:
That would ring alarm bells with me. If I were you I would change the bank that your wages are paid into.0 -
Trust me mate, I am already on it!! They seem to have more technical glitches than anything, I assume they use Windows lol!!
Just hope it is resolved asap as this is a pain!0 -

The strange thing is that this isn't usually triggered by small transactions.
I don't know for sure, but I'm sure I remember someone saying that it should be no more than five days suspension.
If it was a high street bank, then you could appeal to the manager to release enough funds to live on.
AML procedures can be triggered by small transactions, there is no timescale for an investigation, it's however long it takes.0 -

Different banks will have different procedures for this, the OP needs to speak to their bank.0

This might be the time to move to a real bank that doesn't charge £100+pa just to have the account.0

Why are you emailing ? Phone them. Unlike personal emails, they won't be looked at as soon as they arrive !0
