whichever you do by switching your basically paying a price hike upfront, under the disguise of a new tariff, its just cleverly hidden under a new tariff guise.no new tariff is cheaper than the previous one, its always hiked in price, yet they have the nerve to raise prices AGAIN nearly every winter should you not be on a fixed tariff0

I guess we could all just switch twice a year to take advantage of cashback offers. One for winter, one for summer would be optimal.NittyGritty wrote: »whichever you do by switching your basically paying a price hike upfront, under the disguise of a new tariff, its just cleverly hidden under a new tariff guise.no new tariff is cheaper than the previous one, its always hiked in price, yet they have the nerve to raise prices AGAIN nearly every winter should you not be on a fixed tariff

Unlikely to work, since the best tariffs usually (but not always) have an ETC that locks you in for more than 6 months. EDF is an exception at present. No free lunch, and no free laptop
