but the pool does the job, I like the way the drain connects to a hosepipe to drain it

google "gadget offer of the day" for a code. It doesn't say its for the pool but it works, and gives you £2.50 discount.
  • Does anyone know how much this weighs & the size box it comes in?

I think this is the same thing for less money.

Sorry I cannot seem to be able to supply a link. £43.54 deliviered.

    Go to http://www.funkycrab.co.uk/

    then PRODUCT OVERVIEW
    then POOLS (PADDLING & SWIMMING)

2nd item is the one. They also have smaller and bigger pools.

I'm pretty sure that mandmdirect have pools cheaper still. About £20 as far as I know - although their big one is £50. However, I couldn't tell the actual size of the pool cos no units given for measurements - looks big though.

Bear in mind that with our rain fall this year we will definately be in a hose pipe ban - and even though we can break it - it's not that good an idea for the environment. Plus I'm on a water - Anyone know how much it costs to fill it on a water meter?

Seeing as it says on the website that its capacity is 3854 litres (how precise ) I shouldn't think that would be too hard for you to work out. I thoroughly endorse your environmental concerns.

During a hosepipe ban I would not fancy filling it with a bucket. Using a standard 5 litre bucket that is 770 trips to the tap, at least you would get some exercise.
