Paysafecard stole my money!

Hi guys, Ive just joined this forum because I do not know who to turn to. Apologies if this is in the wrong thread but here is my story:
Last saturday evening (11/05/13) at approx 10.11pm I purchased a paysafecard voucher for £100 from a local shop. Within 10-15 mins I was at home on my PC trying to credit an online poker site with the voucher. When I typed in the code, it said it was 'Invalid', I tried again and the same thing happened. So, i phoned up the helpline on the voucher and explained what happened. The woman on the end off the phone asked me for the SNR number and when I gave it to her she said it was locked and it would be forwarded to the technical department. She advised me to send a copy of the voucher via e-mail to support which I did and she told me it wasnt going to be until Monday when techinal support are working. Obviously Im really angry I have to wait but there is nothing she said she can do.
Monday came and numerous phone calls and e-mails later still no joy. Tuesday, I finally get an e-mail saying my paysafecard was blocked due to fraud, for security reasons. they went on by saying all we can offer is a refund. They asked me to provide all details inc bank details, send them photo I.D and confirm my address etc etc which I did. Today (Wednesday), I receive another e-mail. Here it is :
Dear Customer,
many thanks for your enquiry!

.
We hope this information has been helpful to you.
Kind Regards,
Your paysafecard team
So basically what there saying is it was MY fault and there is nothing they can do. I mean !!!!!!. I am absolutely livid. I tried to use my voucher within 15 mins of me buying it, it doesnt work and its my fault?
Please, I do not know what to do now. I cant even speak to technical support direct, in fact, when you phone the helpline, they cannot even speak to technical support, so where does that leave me? They've stolen £100 off me. Any advice would be grateful. TIA

First of all I would do a full scan of your computer using Malwarebytes and your resident AV software.
Then get in touch with the police as they have said and go down that route. Im not sure there is much they can do themselves apart from co-operate with the police and show them everything, I.E when it was bought adn what IP address it was tried to be used from as that should be different from yours."If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -
You appear not to have spoken to the shop where you bought the card from.
I know nothing about Paysafecard, but could it be that the card had already been used when sold to you?0 -
Ok, so I get in touch with the police and explain everything to them. What can they do? Are they gonna re-imburse my money?. Why cant paysafecard tell me when the code was used? Im sorry if Im coming across abrupt but Im so angry right now. I entered code withing 15 mins of me buying it and it never worked. How the hell can that be? I cannot even speak to technical support, its so frustrating. I just cannot see how getting the police involved is gonna get me back my money!0

I have spoken to the shop and they assure me they have done nothing wrong. If the card had already been used when sold to me, surely technical support could see this and realise Its not my fault. Ive sent them a scanned copy of it. Its got the date, time, everything. If its been used prior to me buying it, they shoudl re-imburse me0 -

Hopefully they will try to solve the alleged crime, and thus retrieve your money from the criminal.
I cant speak to technical support. Ive sent them e-mails asking when it was supposedly used with no reply. If I contact the police, Im wondering how they are going to investigate when paysafecards's technical support doesnt help me. Paysafe have told me nothing but basically in a nutshell that it is my fault, even though Ive simply bought one of their vouchers and tried to use it. They are called paysafe, I mean that itself is a joke. If its fraudulent, thats not my problem, thats the companys problem, they should re-imburse me and 'they' should seek the amount from the criminal.0 -
I'm with the op here. where's the fraud?
1. op buys card.
2. op tries to use card
3. op phones tech support who say it is locked
4. tech support say op is victim of fraud
Lots of missing info here.
Are they saying that the card has been used? If so, when?
If that's the case, then you don't go to the police, you report to action fraud

Reviews all mention atrocious customer service0 -
You may not be able to speak to technical support, but PSC have already told you they will co-operate with the police.
For all you and I know, PSC may already have good evidence just waiting to pass to the police.
As you have already been advised, both by PSC and on this forum, inform the police.0 -
Exactly kizkiz ty. This is my point, they havent told me anything. getting an e-mail out of them is like getting blood out of a stone. They cant just say Im a victim of internet fraud, phone the police. They have to tell me what has happened, but they are not. How can they possibly get away with this. They could do this to anyone.0
