How many scrap merchants have you tried? I'm sure most will be interested especially given that the car drives. I used cartakeback.com and they were good, I got £110 for a Clio. The quote will reduce by about £20 if they have to come and collect it. They are a broker and only use Authorised Treatment Facilities (DVLA approved scrappy) so you can be sure the car won't end up back on the road and you get a certificate of destruction.0

Why dont you scrap your car , a scrap dealer will come and collect it from your house no need to drive it anywhere. Make sure you use a reputable one that will give you a cod (certificate of destruction) and completes the section of the log book with there company details that you need to post back to the dvla. I scrapped my mondeo and got £150 for it , If your in the london area give them a try www sell my car london .com0
