  • It is a little expensive, I think. But it must be worthy.

Anyway I'm in debt and don't know what to do.

I'd guess that everyone on the Debt Free Wannabe board is in debt, whether they owe £500 or £50,000. It's a matter of how much debt you have and how much you can afford.

Do you have any small children? I remember a few years back my friend asked her local surestart centre to see if they could offer any help.
Been there, done that and Ebay'd the t shirt.

    Sorry for being blunt here.

Our dryer also broke! and we do need one for emergencies!

You don't need it for emergencies. You want it for convenience.

Find it strange to be in loads of debt but also wanting a tumble dryer.

(Caveats; live in small flat, no outdoor drying space, have children, live without dryer)

Was going to make that point earlier but got distracted. We live in a small flat so have it drying in the front room. Nothing wrong with that. You're right that a dryer is a luxury convenience and not a need for 'emergencies'.
  • Sink and a mangle. My granny swears by it.
  • I have 6 children, me and my partner and we have a dryer we don,t use, you can manage without them, you just have to be orgernised, like putting 2 loads of washing on in the evening ready to hang out the next day..

Sounds like me when I justified getting a food processor that has sat in the cupboard for well over a year :rotfl:

The OP posted one such example from Argos in their original post.
