    Pole- Dancer

    Peter Stringfellow's willy washer

    Escort

Abbatoir (if I was a Vegan)

Anything involving blood or people being sick - I would faint at the first and would join in on the second

    Pole dancer - fine.
    Escort - fine.
    Abattoir - fine.
Anything involving blood or people being sick - fine.
Carer for Peter Strinerfellow - fine.

If it is a lawful job, and you are claiming benefits on the explicit undertaking that you are seeking a job, all jobs are suitable. Don't like it? Don't claim benefits, it's a free country.

Really!! - The Jobcentre could make me choose between poverty and prostitution or pole dancing, sorry but I would be on the phone to my human rights lawyer straight away.

No, they wouldn't. Daedalus doesn't know what he/she is talking about.
Afaik none of those would result in a sanction.

As in job seekers and the like benefits. Benefits that are designed to sustain you whilst you actively search for work. It shouldn't be there for you to wait till the perfect job comes up.

Sorry I see you meant the typo.

They can't, but they should. You are choosing between poverty or a job. Escorting isn't prostitution. Someone who works is a prostitute, they are selling their time, their brain and their labour for money.

Get on the phone to your lawyer, the Government makes the laws, there is no human right for the Government to pay you money.

I am so sorry I didn't realise who I was dealing with. Could you now please get back to the daily mail crossword and spying on your next door neighbour in case they smuggle in an illegal immigrant or put a fence up two inches too high. I am sure they are much more valid activities than posting on a forum and perpetrating the myth that all jobseekers are shirkers and undeserving of their benefits.

BBC and Lib Dem man, soz to burst your bubble. I never said all job seekers are undeserving or workshy. I wouldn't take certain jobs unless I was genuinely forced to. I am bigger than that, I admit that even something I would do is not right and should be discouraged as much as possible, we can't all sink to your level.
