    What an interesting story.

    The hinting at what happened, followed by the drip of more information at a gradual pace, and then the finely tuned tugging at heart strings of the full sob story.

    It should be made into a drama....

    I've said this before elsewhere, but it bears repeating...........

    A S21 as it works to day, is a reasonable method for a landlord to regain possession of his property, a S8 is not really reasonable in that it gives too much uncertainty since most of it's grounds are discretionary, also that it can be defended on flimsy evidence.

    I would like to see a third type of S21 where the grounds are purely rent arrears, this type of S21 not to be subject to a court PO but to be decided by a tribunal of experts within say one month, Then 14 days for the erring tenant to leave the property.

    Yes I know a S21 is a 'no fault notice' so we'd have to call it something else.

    How about a 'Gerroutofmypropertytoutsuite notice'.
