My son has broken the charging point on his phone, on the inside the little bits have snapped off.
How easy is it to replace this and how much roughly does it cost and where can I get it done.
Another thing, if I purchase a different blackberry off ebay, can it be another other model, will his sim fit, he is on a tesco contract until January, only want a cheapy really, as he will probably change phone come Jan anyway.

Those things can be hard to fix. You can ask at a local independent vendor if you have such a thing in your area.
A replacement depends on your budget. You can get a working Curve 8900 for as little as £20 to £25 which tide may him over. Example
Like the 8520, it doesn't have 3G capability. He can put a cheap case on to improve the appearance.
If you have a larger budget, this Curve 9360 with 3G capability is £50. Though with little or no selling history, I would perhaps leave that particular sale.0 -

If you want new, expect to pay at least £100 for a Curve 9360. Example0
