You've just proved both my points about how you have no argument so you pick on little things to make yourself look like your right....
I could of just quoted myself but wasn't sure you'd understand it this time either!! :rotfl:
Oh dear kayalana the grammar/spelling police will be along shortly to jump all over you!0 -
The language of the letter appears to have been equally emotive which I suggest is the cause of the response.
I can't see actual wording from the letter in this thread so can't really make a judgement there, all we've been told is how the OP didn't like the 'tone'. People may be able to interpret the letter themselves on here if we knew what it actually said.:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

*shurgs* I don't let it bother me, this is an online fourm and I don't care much for grammer the same I wouldn't on facebook/texting...gets pulled up from time to time but this isn't a job interview or anything important....I think people should just be more laid back about things!!
Anyway..I feel like im spamming the thread however entertaining its been its not helping the subject :-)People don't know what they want until you show them.0 -

True, which is why I said "appears". However the whole thread is based around a demand from the school.I can't see actual wording from the letter in this thread so can't really make a judgement there, all we've been told is how the OP didn't like the 'tone'. Our county Outdoor Education department can usually provide these for loan, given enough notice to the school. No chance at your's?
Otherwise, try Sports Direct, they have Karrimor boots at a really good price, under £25 for adults and they go up to a size 13. I've only just gritted my teeth and bought DS
a pair of all-singing-all-dancing hiking boots at an eye watering price but I'm pretty sure his feet have stopped growing now at size 12! Before that it was a new pair of Karrimors every year as duel purpose walking boots and snow boots.
Not heard of them, will have to google and see if my council has one! Given proper warning I could probably have found a pair at the car boot. If we can't get grandad's to fit, I'll be trying the Factory Shop as they're close and usually have a selection of outdoorsy stuff.

No school trip at all? No visit to a local historical place? No museum visits? I find tha very hard to believe.
I had a school trip to a farm 3 miles from the school, and a couple of lectures in council facilties in the city centre 1½ miles away from the school which we traveled to ourselves and got given our bus fares back next day in my entire school time. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. :eek:That's not a school trip, that's a holiday;)
When we were at school back in the sixties/seventies, we had two or three school trips a year - to the local zoo, museums, day trip to France.
We were not well off, but my parents always paid for us to go.
If parents do not want to pay for things for their children, then they should not have had children in the first place.0
