working do you still have to pay the network as i have no phone at mo. thanks!
Unfortunately yes.
A mobile contract is really two contracts, one for the phone, and one for the airtime.
Your airtime contract will state that the hardware is not part of the contract so hence you need to pay the line rental.
Read your documents that came with the phone, many phones come with a two year warranty, but usually Apple and Blackberry's are only 1 year warranty, so if it's not broken through you damaging it you may have some cover.0 -

You would have to give the required notice to three and then pay the last bill, you would then be disconnected and you would lose access to the network.0

TWO contracts? Absolutely not. Just one, for the SIM card. The phone is an inducement (whether free or discounted).
You could sell it immediately if you wished - but you still have to pa for the SIM.0 -

Does the simcard still work? That is basically what your monthly charge pays for, if the original handset is lost of broken buy a cheap phone and put your simcard into it.
A PAYG phone from the same network will work with the sim, as will any sim free phone.====0
