Does anyone know if there is anyway of getting talktalk to give existing cusytomers the offers for new customers?

Theres a fab deal that expires tonight, but for new customers only. I'm out of contract, so am at liberty to go elsewhere, but can't find a deal better than this. Have already rung talkTalk who are adamant that I can't have the offer!

Desperatly trying to cut costs as my income is about to plummet!

What offer are you looking at? They've always matched and beaten new customer offers for me.

I was explicit that I was leaving, but the best they could offer me was a 24 month contract at £3.50 for 12 months, £6.50 for 12 months.

Had they offered me the new customer offer I'd have signed up.

    24 month contract...

Surely they only do 12 month contracts for standard ADSL. Are you sure you're speaking to the customer loyalty team? Rather than press the number for upgrade go through to the "thinking of leaving" option.

I know for a fact that Talk Talk can do their essentials package on a 12 month contract at the following price.

    £6.50pm (Standard)
    50% discount for 12 months = £3.25pm
    £2 recurring discount for 12 months = £1.25pm

+ Line rental at £14.50pm or Value line rental paid upfront (£114 i think)

So it's worth using the above as a target to try and push them to. Just quote the EE deal and if they don't budge just specifically ask them to apply the discounts.

I can't guarantee you'll get the exact same deal as it varies for each customer. But that is something others have got recently.

I did indeed use the "thinking of leaving" button! They obviously didn't like the sound of me!

    Hi MrsX,

Offers for new and existing customers will vary. For existing customers the offers available vary depending on your tariff, how long you've been with us, how long you are renewing for and your average spend.

If you want to discuss what offers arte avialble this is best done via the Retentions Teams as offers can change from day to day as new incentives are released.
