Toggle doesn't offer nano-SIMs. If you order one, they send you a 2FF mini-SIM which they have hand-cut to a 4FF nano-SIM in only 2 of its 3 dimensions. A nano-SIM is 0.67mm thick so a genuine one cannot be cut by hand from a 0.76mm-thick SIM card. Although a manually cut 0.76mm-thick SIM can be forced into an iPhone 5, this has the potential to invalidate the iPhone's warranty. There have been reports of them getting stuck inside. I don't think they offer genuine 3FF micro-SIMs either.albionrovers wrote: »Toggle offer 3 kinds of SIM - Normal/Marco/Nano. I am guessing the an Iphone 4S that uses a micro-sim would be "Marco" - process of elimination? Anyone know? Thanks.0 -

Toggle may be more expensive overall, if she will be likely using the SIM for data. In addition, the iPhone will need to be unlocked.
Perhaps run a check on the amount of data that she may use on a daily basis before making a decision.0 -
why not just get a tesco pre-pay simDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

How a pre-pay sim is better than a caped contract?0

Why not just use a French Lycamobile SIM card, which costs €0.09/MB?0

You'll still need to unlock the iPhone. 9c per MB is much the same as charged by O2 for 25MB and with Lyca you are stuck with one network. No signal and she's stuck. With O2, you'll probabaly have a choice.
When it comes to their children, people shouldn't always look at the cheapest option.
Not a bad option price-wise though.0 -

easy way around the roaming issue, and sim 100% will workDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0 -

            Thanks again guys.
Plenty of options here although the "switch the d*mn thing off" is still the best one.
