So many questions, so many charges!! NEED HELP

Hi All,
Barclay card: Credit amount £260.00
After suffering a massive financial crash, and not being able to get back up from it, and still suffering, my barclaycard spun out of control.
Not for the want of trying to pay the minimum payment and having many phone calls, to advise them that I was in a bad situation, the charges rolled on in.
The original agreement was for a vanquis card with a limit of £260, today with charges they want £932.00
I have printed out my credit report and can see each months gradual charges applied on the account. And my various attempts to make payments and work things out.
It is now in the hands of a collector.
Can I try and get the charges reversed and just make an agreement to pay off the £260 as there is NO god given way unless I win the lotto that I am ever going to be able to pay this amount???
THEN There is : Halifax,
Same situation as above fell into financial hardship, but before that was sold the current plus account on the advice that I could get my overdraft ( which this was all i was calling to get ) and have my mobile phone covered, and that, even though I most likely wouldn't need to use the other insurances, in the long run I would be better off and paying less money to insure my phone than with an external company.
This again was hard to pay when things went sour, and now with all the charges is at -609.00
i was in positive credit most of the time and had a healthy account until i changed to current plus!!!
Can I put in a claim to get these charges back??
Any help is great help.

I doubt you'll get any refund of charges older than six months and then only if you fulfil those lenders' "hardship" criteria.
Sounds more likely you'll have to enter into Debt Management or an IVA etc.
Post your statement Of Affairs (SOA) at the Debt Free Wannabe board where you'll find posters who have been in a similar position;
