Can i escape a contract?

its wrongly advertised wont surprise me if it get removed soon after many people complain about it0

It's a bit different to paying off the whole contract.
You're basically paying £20pm for the handset and £20pm for the airtime. When you want to upgrade you pay off the £20pm handset part where as you can just cancel the airtime part any time.
So yeh the advert is misleading. But it's not as bad as P4U JUMP or the others. I'd never buy a scheme like that though, works out more expensive than a contract/payg in the long run.0 -

I don't handle my phone like it's a crystal glass or anything but I don't treat it like I see so many people do... what with throwing it around, letting it fall on the floor, grabbing it and handling it like it's worth less than £10...0 -
I see they don't teach basic contract law in schools....
Aren't students supposed to be smart?
If you've signed a contract for 2 years you can't just cancel it like that. The fact that you broke your phone and it's now out of warranty has nothing to do with your contract which is for the air time.
Next time get insurance, or just don't sign up for a 2 year agreement if you're prone to breaking your phone easily.
The best advice i can give you is the following-
-Pay a third party/Apple to repair your phone
OR
-Sell your phone on ebay for spares/repairs and buy a new phone at the same cost.
dont tarnish us all with that brush
theres a difference between a ex poly media studies "student" and a redbrick engineering student
anyway, heres some valid advice
you could move to a different country like north korea, im sure they wont chase you there...0
