Any increases by Yorkshire or B/B

Following the 0.25% rate increase, has anyone heard any news from Yorkshire or Bradford & Bingley?
I can never understand why some societies announce increases almost immediately, whilst others, you wonder if they've forgotten!

reason y some institutions announce rises immediately to take effect at a later date is cos they end up with 2 lots of "good news" publicity announcing the rise and then announcing that the rise has taken effect bit like labour government, makes several policy announcements about the same thing so that it looks as if its a busy and effective government :rolleyes:0 -
I'm reliably informed that YBS will announce their new rates this Friday 25th May.0

Any clues this time YorkshireBoy?0 -
I called by a YBS branch last Friday. They told me that all YBS staff had received an e-mail from head office, that day, that stated that the E-ISA rate would rise by the full 0.25% to 5.90%. They said a confirmation e-mail was going out later this week. I didn't want to post it on the forum until official confirmation had been received.
From the e-mail, it does look like YBS are raising eISA and regular savings rates by the full 0.25%. Best to wait for confirmation though. Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -

This was one of three accounts I asked about. They quoted me the new rates for the E-ISA and Regular Savings account (*still subject to confirmation by e-mail later this week from Head Office), but couldn't give me the new eSaver rate. According to the advisor the e-mail indicated only that the rate paid on this account was rising, but didn't state by how much. That, along with the other rates will feature in the rate confirmation e-mail. We haven't got long to wait.bristolleedsfan wrote:im looking 4ward 2 when u announce a mutual marriage kazza. It'll be interesting to see if the other building societies - who have yet to make a rate announcement - will be increasing their rates. Bath BS are making Scarborough's regular saver look very "ordinary" at the moment.

esp after scarboroughs 0.05% increase following the last base rate increase. on monday scarborough should have been actioning a 2999 withdrawal to top up my barclays isa so what scarborough do is little interest 2 meyorkshire BS R/S is mega interest 4 me
though
will be interesting 2 c if loughborough increase their 8% reg saver as the interest rate guarantee allows them to let one 0.25% base rate increase pass by without an increase on the r/s0
