in Praise, vent & warnings
The many strands of this forum are terrifically useful for sharing problems, seeking advice or simply venting a little. So here's a twist. What about venting on something positive that has happened to you this year?

Two great things for me:

1. 14th wedding anniversary in January (after most family members predicted that it wouldn't last a year!)

2. Planning permission for extension submitted and granted within four weeks. (Less delighted about how much it is costing!).

How about you?

    My elderly Mum had a complex operation a couple of weeks ago and is doing superbly, so I'm delighted.

    I started teaching fitness classes in the community again and so far they are going well.

    Motherwell fc got champions league football for the second year in a row (not happened to me personally but good for the wider community and maybe a wee road trip abroad)

    Managed to find out what my savings plans with scottish friendly are worth at the moment, didnt expect them to be worth as much as they are

    Oh and this forum has helped me massively with trying to save more money and not waste, particularly food.

    And after a pretty horrible 2012 me and mine are doing ok.

    I've got work secured until September and in my industry that is a long contract! It's also £10 a day more than I usually get too!
