Oh dear, FFP, what a shock!

Well, I lost 4lb this time :T so thats 6lb in a month :o still at least it's the right direction and finally moving again. Plus that includes a fairly heavy Saturday night (oh dear mr budweiser) and a full brekkie on Sunday morning. D'ya think I can lose 4st before my hols? :rotfl: might get half-way though!

Anyway, to flying, I have made the beds and folded dry laundry, but am WFH today so now my calls are done I need to crack on. Got an hour scheduled for lunch and flying later.

    Have fun!

Ooooh the school seem to be trying to get out of taking Moomin on the residential because I moved Tiddles and she is moving the week after... what are the odds they looked at the fact she has an injection each day and her other disabilities which mean she might need more support than they can be bothered to give???

They'll be liking to hear from a solicitor if that is the case.. they can spend the education budget getting interpreters in to tell parents they must collect their children at 3pm but not provide physical support for a disabled child... oooh this WILL look good!!

    Morning all

Paid stuff decluttered. Just having a cuppa and a piece of toast.

Natty, I'm old, I did O levels. It is just with kids gone through GCSEs, invigilating exams and being a Governor I refer to them in current terms.

FFP - hope the guy is ok

Off to play with laundry and maybe strip a bed. A bit more paid stuff this afternoon.

    Morning fellow flyers

Thursday - house lovely; Sunday - house a pit - what on earth happened, I'll never know :(

OH has tidied around downstairs this morning, done the dishes and swept the kitchen floor into a pile (he couldn't find the dustpan and brush ) so I'll have to finish it now he's off to work.

Upstairs has had the floordrobe cleared, new shower curtain put up, all beds made, rooms aired, floors hoovered. Stairs are half way hoovered from the top but ran out of flex to do the bottom bit. Just about to make a cuppa then I'll finish off the bottom half and do the downstairs floors.

WM No. 2 will be put on whilst kettle is boiling. It's gloriously sunny and windy here, but don't think I'll risk pegging out as we keep having thunderous hailstone shower. I think I'll clear out the long corridor today and see about putting 2 or 3 washing lines up in there. The end door leads to the garden so it will get a good blow through in there at least. I must get my electricity bill down. £272 is crippling!

Fancy a quickie? Cuppa I meant you filthy lot :rotfl: HHH at 11.15 for me if you want to jump onboard :)

    TMD xx

Got loads done in the kitchen this weekend so it'll mainly be a case of maintenance today. Added a 'tidy one shelf' job to the list also as I want to get the shelving unit tidied over the next few weeks without feeling like it's a major task.

    Shouldn't take too long.

Good job you were there FFP. Bet you're a bit shaken up though.

Hugs Wendywitch - sounds like you're having a tough time at the moment.

Any flylady thoughts and prayers appreciated for my friend who lost her baby this weekend at 20 weeks. Not spoken to her yet but been in touch with her DH via text over the weekend. Hoping to go and see her on Friday as she lives over an hour away.

On a positive note, my two girls have been little angels this weekend and had some really lovely 'sister' time together. Makes you count your blessings when something happens like that.

Will be back later to cross off some jobs when I get home from work.

  • Seems to be quite a bit of healing/soothing/comforting required today. Sending positive vibes to you all to be strong for all those around you and not least, yourselves. :grouphug:

BBC Weather predicts a 2 hour window in the weather between 1 and 3, so plan is to get all the washing through and peg out, if possible.

Coffee going down nicely. Need to brace myself to enter DS's room with the hoover.

    Whoops, I'm late - off I go......
