Help I cant stop eating.

The ONLY way to stop doing it is to go through that first week of hell when you stop eating the sugar and carbs, until you do this it will not stop. Those first few days are hell, when you get past those you actually start to enjoy the healthy food and you have so much more energy too. It is an addiction and you have to go cold turkey, drink gallons of water too, it gets the rubbish out of your system soonerBlackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0

What helps me is replacing all the high sugar food with something else. So for example, I LOVE chocolate, and this is my no.1 weakness so I allow myself one bar of dark chocolate per week. It only takes a couple of squares and my sweet tooth is happy. I have also replaced cakes etc with pink and white wafer marshmallow bars which only have 50 calories in so I still get my fix. And drink loads of water too! Good luck!

I've lost two and a half stone since Christmas and haven't cut a single food out of my diet completely.
You don't need to go cold turkey on anything unless you feel that it would be easier for you that way so as to avoid getting the taste and eating loads!0 -

yes, that is it, like cigs, If I have one bite of something all the hard work of getting off is undone, I stopped smoking 12 years ago, I am vegetarian and I don't drink alcohol. My only vice now is caffeine, but I WILL get that monkey off my back too

We all have those horrible days, you're honestly not alone. We beat ourselves up about every little fault but rarely acknowledge our best points - for every negative you feel, you need to balance that with a positive or you'll drive yourself crazy. So for example, I am overweight but I have really nice eyes... try it!

I tend to have a few good weeks where I lose some weight and get more exercise and I feel really good, then I slip back into my bad habits and I lose my fitness and the weight creeps back up.
When I'm doing well I plan meals one to three weeks in advance so when I go shopping I know exactly what I need to buy. I have a sweet tooth but luckily I love fruit so I plan snacks too and replace crisps and chocolate with fruit instead. I drink more water and make a list of things that need doing around the house so if I'd usually sit down and stuff junk food I have something to occupy me instead.
I crave something sweet after I eat something savoury, I either eat fruit or force myself past the craving in the days and in the evening I replace milk chocolate with dark chocolate. I buy a really nice bar of rich chocolate and one square is enough for me, instead of shoving the whole square in my mouth I take little nibbles which makes it last long enough to be fulfilling for my craving.
I fall apart if I can't stick to my meal plan and don't tend to have a backup so end up buying last minute junk. I've just had six really bad weeks and not stuck to a single plan but am using today to refocus and plan again for the next two weeks.0 -

A good question and one that is very relevant. I did that for months - paid for my monthly pass and then didn't go because I had not kept to the plan. Glad to say I am back now and slowly but consistently losing, I have lost 11 lb so far.
To the OP - I understand where you are coming from, I have been there myself (still am) . My advice really is, have the chocolate of you must but have WW or other low-calorie bars and count them in your daily or weekly allowance. I had three bars at two points each the other day, but it came from my weekly allowance (which I see as an authorised overdraft) so still within the plan.
If you don't like veggies have loads of fruit, it is all no-point on the WW plan. Have black coffee and things like marmite drinks or diet coke, all no points but fills both your tummy and the 'urge'. Have low-calorie chocolate drinks. Rice cakes are good fillers, three for only two points and lovely with no-point tomato and cucumber on. So you could have six for only four points.
I love eating too, but am trying to eat only low-calorie stuff and fruit and veg (although i did slip and have loads of real butter the other day, but because I had clocked the rest on my tracker I knew I could take it out of my overdraft
).
Hope this helps.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
