You don't need a BT landline for a VM cable service-you only need that for any other ADSL broadband service.
VM cable is an entirely separate network.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Virgin cable services are entirely separate from BT. Other providers do "piggyback" on BT for telephony and broadband, but cable hardware is standalone for everything.

    :( disappointing customer service.

Had 3 pre install checks followed by 2 failled installations.

Problems were listed as a complaint 25th April with installations dept after I googled can my postcode get Virgin Media and the answer came back 'NO SERVICE TO SIGNAL' just over 1 mile too far?

How did Virgin not know that? This has been going on since March 9th.

So I have no services but receive constant emails my services are up and running and how to make the most out of my media and they've even emailled me 'my first bill and payment is due'?

Cracks me up how they've billed me for something I don't have and 2 employees are aware of this.

Don't these people talk to each other?

I want to send an email following up my complaint but you simply can't get an email address? Crazy!
