Help locating Central heating timer
Comments
-
I have found one which looks similar on ebay but not hundred percent sure if it's the right one as it day and night settings.
The item number on ebay is 281106369220 if anybody would care to look0 -
that is really old & i doubt that you will find one, just buy a modern one it will give you far more control over the timings for your systemI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
I've seen one on Ebay and put the item number in up above, I'm wondering if it's the same one.
Trouble is buying a new one might need an electrician to sort it and I haven't spare money at the moment.0 -
either one of these or if you have gravity h/w & the timer is only for heating which it would suggest it is then one of these
however if that timer is for an immersion heater then neither of the above is suitableI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

yes it does look the same but it depends what it is operating (don't worry about the night/day it's just yours has a 24 hr dial)I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

It is operating our central heating system and that's ancient too, but all costs money and we can't afford to replace the whole thing.
Thanks for your help.0 -
It is a Sangamo. Some on ebay - "Sangamo timer". But really you need to face up to replacing it. The timers on ebay are probably well on their way out now.It is operating our central heating system and that's ancient too, but all costs money and we can't afford to replace the whole thing.
Thanks for your help. You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0 -
You can buy the dial assembly for around £15 from Sangamo direct:

Thanks all for your help, much appreciated.0 -
That's blast from the past. I had one of them in the 1960's. Anyway, why not just take it off and Araldite it.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
