Has anybody upgraded from Android ICS to Jelly Bean on their Virgin SGS2 yet?

I can confirm that Jellybean 4.2.2 (custom ROM) works just fine on my S2, just as the official Jellybean 4.1.2 did.

If you use odin you can flash from sam firmware if you don't care about official update

Works well, the 3 branded JB was horrible, sucked the life out of the battery like no tomorrow and the occasional force close and reboot.

I downloaded the Nordic release from SAM firmware and it works very well, battery life is good and the firmware is smooth.

Thanks for the replies. Not looking to reflash at the moment as my S2 is still under warranty. But I am having a bit of a clean-up to make it run smoother, although the flashing battery icon I have had for a few days is a bit annoying. I will chase up Virgin to see if official release is imminent and check out the Nordic release too before actually pressing the button. My last phone, a Nokia C7 suffered all sorts of problems when I went from Nokia Anna to Belle. Once bitten, twice shy, so to speak.

Quick update. Been a while since I added to this post. But I received an update message on my SGS2 and as suspected it was the Virgin JB upgrade. I upgraded about 2 weeks ago and so far, no complaints.
