Had the same problem today. I have deleted Skype from my computer and it works ok now. I did notice an email - couldn't open any- that said Skype has been updated.

Sick of this new outlook rubbish, so I might follow Jnelhams advice and go over to gmail.

It actually turned out to be a problem with Avast - so I have uninstalled and moved over to Comodo Firewall - all is well now

I found a slight improvement to it today by removing all the linked accounts

I don't get the error as often, but still enough to make it really annoying!

I would do this though haven't managed at all today to sign in to my account. I'm having the same problem as socrates and keep getting the same message after the third attempt today: We can't connect to Outlook at the moment. Please try again later. Been trying on and off since 11am this morning, very frustrating too!!

    Anyone else experiencing the same?
  • Oh this Outlook is driving me mad - dots going across the top, can't connect to Outllook, blank screen when I try to log in etc etc Wish I could move to gmail but I've got so much using the hotmailk e-mail it would be a nightmare to change it all. Surely we shouldn't have to put up with this appalling "improvement"? Is everyone experiencing the same difficulties as me?

I managed to clear my cache as suggested here, I've managed to sign OK the following day, so hopfully that should resolve the situation for the time being though somehow I wouldn't be supprised it won't be the last time I get locked out of my account. I'll wait and see.

I've also not bother to delete my linked accounts as suggested by the_r_sole, I'll see how it goes first before doing anything else.
  • Still having terrible problems with Hotmail/Outlook. Constantly getting the message "Can't connect to Outlook at the moment", still getting dots across the top and always get a blank page when I log in and have to refresh over and over and often log in again. Is it just me or are others getting these problems and does anyone know how to remedy any of it?

I'm having the same problems which I've had over the last few days. I've was away on holiday until last Saturday and the problems have been since I returned.

Problems change but tonight nothing is loading. I'm on Windows 8 and I can see my emails via the app there.
