Ever since the forced changeover to Outlook from Hotmail - I have become increasingly frustrated
It seems whenever there is an attachment I have problems with replying, forwarding or sometimes even opening mail
Several times a day I will get the same message:
We can't connect to Outlook at the moment. Please try again later.
I have tried all the solutions suggested by MS - like clearing cache etc etc
Nothing seems to work
I managed to work around the forced Skype for Messenger
Is there any way to work round this problem?

Yes, switch to Gmail !! You can set the forwarding settings in Gmail so that it can pick up your old Outlook emails until you've got everyone using your new gmail address. My Mind wanders, if found please return.0

Well you can re-direct that too. Or Yahoo Mail?My Mind wanders, if found please return.0

Service reliability is so intermittent so you never know where you are with it!
I got it going again by clearing my cache but it might have been a coincidence. Trying to send an email just kept stalling!
Seem to be getting moving dots at the top like on an old black n white tv when it goes belly-up0 -

I was also wondering about the OP using Live Mail.
Both GMail and my Hotmail accounts are set up in this programme, and never any problems either sending or receiving emails from either account.0 -

Because it keeps trying to force you to use Skype - and you cannot reject - if you try to it will not open Messenger
So thats why I used this to stick with original version
