Btw I went in Oct it was 28 everyday
Pretty nice that and you'd stand a fair chance of it being the same at the end of this October but I reckon you stand almost an equal chance of there being rain/storms on a lot of days.
It'll still be warm though0 -
Have you thought of the Red Sea? There is a fantastic underwater world just waiting for you both to discover.
It's also the most likely place for the sun you want. You should get it in budget there are lots of hotel to choose from, go to the Trip Advisor site for Egypt ( probably Sharm el Shiekh would suit you) and have a look at the reviews.0 -
I am looking for the same, although I am flying from the northwest. My dd breaks-up on Weds 16th October and I have seen package holidays to Zante S/C on thursday 17th oct for 1 week £218pp.
Turkey AI bodrum/marmaris area from £386pp
These are on holiday hypermarket.
On travel republic prices are cheaper, Fri 18th oct, 1wk, flight £187 to dalaman, hotels AI from £71.
I have only just started looking myself, but if I see any amazing bargains I'll let you know£100 - £10,0000 -

We went to Hurghada, Egypt, in mid November 2012. The weather was superb. Hot and sunny everyday and not too windy. Evenings were not too chilly either. The only downside is the shortness of the day - dark by 5pm but I suppose that is the same everywhere at that time of year short haul.0 -
Don't fancy Egypt or Turkey. No idea why, just prefer Spain, Portugal & Greece. As long as its warmer than UK, that's all that matters really.
Dates are fixed to half term as I teach. No sneaky bunking off for me. Lol. I'll have a looksee on travel republic, thanks.Noli nothis permittere te terere

If you dont fancy Egypt where you would get lovely weather (probably the best month to visit) then maybe Crete or one of the eastern Greek islands (the most southern & eastern are a tiny bit hotter) or the canaries.
But would only consider Egypt in October.0 -
Best chance is kos or Rhodes in Greece but be careful my school is a week later than usual and some resorts will be shut if you can find return flights would def be warmer than here!
Ive be been to Nerja twice in oct half term and brilliant weather including sea temperatures both times. Fly to Malaga where it is often cheap0 -
