Virgin Media Super Hub

I have just currently found out that my 20mb broadband speed has been boosted up to 60mb. Now when I log onto My Virgin Media it informs me I can get a Super Hub modem/router for abdolutely free of charge.
Is this legit and what would it entail .. like do they send you the Super Hub out (because I can set that stuff up myself) or do they come and install it.
I just need a little more info about it and emailing them is pointless because they don't respond very quickly!
Much appreciated.

They will send you one out. That said, a lot of people have had issues with the Superhub, me included. Fine now, but we have had three!!

If you're happy with 20mb and don't feel you need 60mb you can ask to reduce your plan to save money. I was on 30mb which was doubled for free and I've just asked to go back to what is now the 30mb plan. That and losing my free phone calls during the week (we all have mobiles and don't phone much anyway, so there wan't much point in having it) has reduced my bill by £20 a month.

Yep, they'll send you a Super hub out, although mine was installed by an engineer when my modem gave up the ghost.

Whether the speed upgrade would involve a new minimum term seems to vary though - someone I know from another forum started a new minimum term with his speed boost, whereas I didn't.
