As soon as I start to use the phone my connection to the internet cuts out, I am on broadband and the modem tries to reconnect but cannot until the phone is not in use. Can anybody out there help me to put it right.

Sounds like a filter problem to me. Filters are meant to filter the different wavelengths between voice calls and digital signals. Get them checked out first if I was you. It pays to have good filters.

Hi,
You also need a filter attached to the phone in your bedroom.
Any phone or other device that is connected to your line needs a filter attached to it.

Thanks everybody, it is sorted now, I did have a filter fitted in the bedroom where the phone is but because there is extension leads and a double adaptor involved I got it all mixed up with the connections, the way I connected everything was wrong and the phone was bypassing the filter but I have the arrangement correct now and it all works perfectly.
