another galaxy 4 problem

I have just added all my contacts to my galaxy 4 and trying to put pictures alonside them. If I go to my facebook and get a picture it gives the option to set the picture against the relevant contact number but when I select this option it says I have no contacts!!! Beginning to wish I had stuck with the iphone

Have you downloaded the user manual from samsung.co.uk it may help . Facebook and pictures for contacts i know nothing about .

google
samsung
facebook
whats app
phone
sim
you might be trying to use one set off contacts and your phone is using a different set
i fined it best to use gmail (google)

ios restricts what you can ,which can make it seem simple at times
android you can change every thing ,if you know how ,which can make it hard to use at times
now thats the real problem ,ex-iphone users thinking android is the same or like ios and there used to ios,they are not they are totally different

I saved my contacts to my sim and then went on facebook clicked on photo and then set as icon then clicked save to contacts it would normally go to my contacts so i could save the picture to relevant contact but it just says no contacts

You can't save pictures to a SIM.

Nowadays, it's preferable to store contacts in your Google account. If you have both your Google and Facebook accounts synced then your friends Facebook photo will automatically appear. (They will be linked)
