Thanks. Just checked the paperwork and the paint protection was £199 and GAP was £349.

The paperwork says I have 30 days to cancel the GAP Policy so I will be doing that but will the refund go to the finance company or to me?

Paint protection? so you paid £200 for someone to wash the car and stick £30 of polymer stuff on it? sounds like you added it on the 5 years of credit so that £200 will probably end up costing you over £300 depending on the interest rates you got.

I am surprised they didn't sell you the nitrogen filled tyre option.

Paint protection has got to be the biggest rip off ever.

I looked at a new BMW Z4 yesterday and the quote includes £305 for Supaguard Leather.

A long way from finalising any deal but that's the first thing that will come off if I go ahead with the purchase.

It's bad enough getting a kick-back to put fairy dust over the lacquered, sealed paintwork on the car, but to do it for the leather too? Maybe a new buyer thinks the seats just need a grass feed and they'll be back on their legs in the morning.
