    They are unless you're stupid enough to work for Big Bank - they actually make you work for a living and you're not allowed to drink at lunchtime to take away the pain!

    Of course I do still manage to do a little light internet surfing to while away the hours.

    Anyway, time is logged (42.5 hours after 4 days). Off tomorrow so down to the pub for me. Gotta pay for it myself this time, unfortunately. I much prefer the 'sponsored by' evenings. Money Saving.

    You should get on the Conservative Party City Circle mailing list (PM me if anyone wants details) and go along to their City events. Free champagne and canapes a couple of times a month.

    There was a good one on Tuesday that the trader and I went along to. Lots of free (semi-decent) wine, and good networking opportunities. We both had terrible hangovers the following day, but it was good fun. :beer: :beer:

    Actually I broke Golden Rule #4 tonight:

    Never get drunk if you're not working the next day. Why have a hangover on your own time?
