Building and Contents Insurance

Options
I purchasing a house soon. My contents insurance gets paid in Feb. Should I now get a combined building/contents insurance and cancel the original contents insurance or just buy buildings only and have them renewing at different times. My guess I will be paying more f I do them separately.

Any thoughts on this

You will not necessarily be paying more for insuring seperately. The best thing will probably be to set up a buildings only policy for the moment then when the contents is due for renewal, let the policy lapse and add onto the buildings policy. This way there is no cancellation fees.
    Hope this helps.
