Water saving showerhead

Hi all,

I've been looking at water saving showerheads, and some of them say they are not suitable for certain types of showers.

My shower is a Triton LP which, after looking it up on the internet, seems to be a low pressure thermostatic mixer shower. I'm still none the wiser as to what kind of shower that is and what kind of showerhead I can buy. Therefore I'm turning to the knowledge of MSE for my answer :T Is this and electric or powershower, and can I use a water savinf showerhead on it?

For additional info I'm a tenant on a water meter.

Thanks in advance.

It's neither: it's (as you discovered) a mixer shower. An electric shower runs off a cold mains feed only and heats the water in the shower unit. Yours takes water from the existing hot and cold supplies and is gravity fed. A power shower is the same as yours, but pumped to boost the pressure and flow rate.
