Legal download sites?

Just got Broadband from TalkTalk. Any1 recommend a legit movie/mp3 download site. Any1 use moviedownloadworld?

Moviedownloadworld is just another P2P share software like Bittorrent, Kazza and any number of programs. Read thier little disclaimer at the bottom of thier page.

"You will find both copyrighted and non-copyrighted material on the P2P, file-sharing networks featured on this site with over 800 artists who have authorized the Sharing of their content for non-commercial use, including content with Creative Commons format licenses"

Seems a bit dodgy that they say they have 800 artists permission to share thier stuff yet claim to have "Over 80 Million Movies and TV-Shows to choose". Basically they charge you to provide you with a file sharing software the same as the ones freely available.

There's a topic in the Techie Forum with some stuff on legal music downloads. I can't recommend it though; your much better off just buying cds.

As for movie download sites there are none available with a decent selection of films and of those available most of them are restricted to the US only. This is something you'll have to wait for, and even then if the movie industry is anything like the music industry the DRM will be too strict and you'll be better off buying a DVD.
